Sound Quality Listening Guide - produced by
We all know that music speaks to our emotions. This guide sets out to demonstrate the difference, superior sound can make. Purely in
terms of quality, once the listener becomes aware of various sonic and spatial distinctions, be they ever so subtle, s/he will all the more
relish the music they love.
We would like to introduce listeners to concepts like:
1. Clarity
2. Dynamics
3. Resolution
4. Soundstage
5. Timbre
The audio tracks that follow, are very short, specifically designed to take a listener from very simple to more complex concepts.
- First, we start with audio test tones to introduce audio frequencies.
- Next, we continue with Drum Dynamics to introduce the concept of speed and dynamic range of percussion instruments.
- Then, we go on to explain tonality using cello and vocal tracks, followed by all other tracks pertaining to all other audio concepts.
All these tracks are very specific and short, so that listeners will not lose focus.
